1 Thessalonians 5:9-10English Standard Version (ESV)9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him.
Understand this, No matter where You are in life:
- You will never be able to please everybody.
- Someone will Always be disappointed in you.
- Someone will ALWAYS be proud of you.
- There will be good days.
- There will be bad days.
- You will always come up short when you compare yourself to others.
- you will always excel when you compare yourself to others.
- Nothing will ever be... 'Perfect'.
The Good thing is We know for certain that God has our back. He is the ONLY constant in our world of ups and downs. Ya see, Hell was Never intended for us, Constant pain and darkness is NOT the reality we were created to live in. God's Purposes for us are good and pure. However, Sin causes bumps in that rd. So God Gave his son Jesus to handle that situation, and because of that we can now LIVE in the reality He created us to live in. A Life of Freedom and Joy despite the ups and downs. All we have to do is Stay faithful to him who redeemed us:)
